  A hidden gem just an over an hour out of Adelaide. A charming old building with gteat historical value. The staff are friendly and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, showing indepth knowledge. Food has a large local component and is divine! We did have to wait a while for meals on the night we dined here, but the manager was very apologetic and reduced our drinks bill to compensate, which was appreciated.

  I called in for a drink and chat about this historic building last week. I was made most welcome the drinks were excellent. The service by staff and owners were what I would have expected but supassed my expectations.

  We popped in for lunch after coming back from Kangaroo Island & were greeted by Rose, who explained the kitchen would be open 15mins and we could feel free to wander around the garden or look upstairs. Rose was incredibly attentive and was amazing with our 19 month old daughter. Setting beautiful, food was first class. I had duo of lamb & my husband had the Beef flank. Rose delivered our mains & then detailed the dish, so we understood all the ingredients. Highly recommended - Thank you all
